The Miss Black Iowa USA Pageant invites partnerships as we strive to work towards transforming the lives of young African American women throughout Iowa. The support provided by individuals, foundations, businesses, civic organizations, and even government, allows us to implement and expand our program.

Our supporters enable us to accomplish several things:

  •  Market and recruit a large pool of top-notch African-American women in an effort to expose
     more young women to the process and program and identify well-rounded state delegates.

  •  Host a selection event that provides the opportunity for providing the platform for delegates
     to showcase their performance, academic achievements, and demonstrated leadership.

  •  Enable the organization to recognize and honor outstanding young women and to incite
     participation through the awarding of scholarships, prizes, and/or other honors to outstanding
     young women.

Community, public and private colleges as well as corporate sponsors and private donors are invited to support our efforts.  In addition, state delegates may have the opportunity to compete for scholarships at the national level.
